Why Be Born Again?
Back in Jesus’ day was a religious leader named Nicodemus. He wanted to know more about God’s kingdom and how it operated through Jesus.
Jesus responded by saying to him that no one could see God’s kingdom unless they were “born again.” (John 3:3) The same is true today.
Sin is a term the Bible uses, defined as “missing the mark.” Think of an arrow missing the center of the bullseye. When God’s standard of good is perfection in all things, it is obvious we all have missed the mark.
Sin has a consequence — just like anything else in life — and causes spiritual death in us and separation from God.

God of all creation is perfectly just and loving, and He knew that we humans were unable to restore our right standing before God on our own.
Yet in His love for us, God did not leave us without hope. He chose to pay the penalty for our sins through His own son, Jesus, who took on the form of a man and lived a sinless life as He taught the reality of God’s kingdom. He then willingly offered Himself on the cross, giving up His life so that you may be restored to a right relationship with God.

God so loved you and the world that He gave His only son (Jesus) so you could have eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:16). This means Jesus becomes the boss of your life and you turn to follow Him rather than your own destructive ways.
You can be free from spiritual death caused by sin. You can be born again! If you realize you have sinned in thought or action, there is hope!
